Well, The last Pre-Classic update came out 6 days after Pre-Classic was made. And Pre-Classic only lasted 6 days, in fact. You must be thinking of pre-0.0.9.įloppyBop wrote:Pre-Classic I believe was a tech test video or something like that. Something that confuses me though, is that 0.0.9 is both part of Pre-Classic and Classic, though I do know that there were multiple 0.0.9s.It's not. I'm not sure if this is true, as MC wiki usually gets old versions wrong (especially what you just posted, that's incorrect, pre-0.0.9 is also pre-classic, no offence though) You are correct about 7 days actually being 6 days, I was wrong.I never said pre-0.0.9 wasn't Pre-Classic. According to Minecraft wiki, pre-0.0.0 (basically 0.0.0 snapshot) is 0.0.0 but without textures and no physics. Classic starts at 0.0.9, pre classic starts at pre-0.0.0. But, if the Minecraft Wiki didn't exist, I wouldn't be saying this stuff. Why? I was only 2 years old when Cave Game was made, with it being made in mid-May, 2009.No, Pre-Classic is the dev stage before classic (pre 0.0.0, 0.0.0, and all versions of pre-0.0.9 which are basically snapshots for 0.0.9). Something that confuses me though, is that 0.0.9 is both part of Pre-Classic and Classic, though I do know that there were multiple 0.0.9s.įloppyBop wrote:Pre-Classic I believe was a tech test video or something like that. HECK YOU COULDN'T EVEN SAVE YOUR WORLDS.You can respawn by pressing R.įloppyBop wrote:Pre-Classic I believe was a tech test video or something like that.
No respawning after falling out of the map. It was first-person only and single-player only. Also, if there was any ceiling, then it would be very dark underneath it. You could not sprint or crouch, you could only place grass on one layer, and on all other layers you would place cobblestone. The Minecraft Pre-Classic stage was only developed for 7 days.įloppyBop wrote:Cave Game was very limited. KlonanoRook wrote:Maybe because it was a tech demo?If I'm correct, the early stages of Minecraft - or that version era - was under development within a month or so, so you couldn't really expect too much from it. The most they could do is pull their ownership/influence (not command) Mojang. Dude341 wrote:Microsoft don't have anything to do with Minecraft, they just own Mojang. This is correct.
